Guns N’ Roses are set to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next week on April 14 and more details have surfaced including who will induct them and which members of the original lineup will be on hand for the event.
Fans have been holding out hope that the original lineup of Guns N’ Roses would put their differences aside and reunite for the event but it now appears that will be all but impossible with one key original members not planning to attend the event.
Slash, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler have publicly stated their intentions to be at the event along with later members Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed. Axl Rose has not yet confirmed he will be on hand and that’s leaves Izzy Stradlin who we learn from Matt Sorum in an interview with Vh1 Radio Network will not be attending.
Blabbermouth reports that during the interview Sorum indicated that Slash told him that Izzy Stradlin was not planning on attending.
As for who be handling the induction, Rolling Stone broke the news on Tuesday that it will be the rather unusual choice of Green Day doing the honors.
