Still Hustie & WILDZ XL – “Vicious Circle of the Wildz” – another important message that the world needs to hear

Hip Hop is incredibly accessible.  If you have any performing, rhyming or poetic talent – you can tell your life story, through rapping, a beat and accessible means. This makes it globally significant – people can put their own spin on it, and express their individuality, or a collective message. Rappers, as poets, have always been a good reflection of the heart of a community. They take ideas out of the community and spread them to the rest of the world. Sometimes its stuff that’s positive, often times its stuff that’s negative. At best, it’s engaged in social, political and

Gual – “Get Down” – a retro-wave 80’s groove that is total wonderfulness!

By the age of 10, artist and producer Gual had picked up his first guitar. Two years later he was experimenting with music production, using a Korg Poly-800 synth, his guitar, and an old Panasonic dual cassette recorder. These days Gual is still channeling all of his energy and passion into his music with a nu-disco single entitled “Get Down”. This is an excellent electronic dance track album from Gual. Fat synths, smooth syrupy and soulful vocals, and thick funky basslines make this track a must have for anyone who appreciates any disco or dance music. The whole track has

Love Ghost Premieres their brand new video “Let It All Burn”

Message from lead singer/songwriter Finnegan Bell: “Let It All Burn” is how I see the world through my 18-year-old eyes. The hypocrisy and unwanted advice that weighed me down during senior year led to this song. My Dad being diagnosed with stage 3 cancer made me more determined- “fuck what they say, I make my own way”. The song was produced by Danny Saber (Rolling Stones, U2, Marilyn Manson, David Bowie). The music video was directed by Dean Karr. The promise of his early work led to Karr being asked to direct Marilyn Manson’s “Sweet Dreams.” The resulting piece drew

Denny Strickland sees Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn character as inspiration for new song

Denny Strickland’s new track, Harley Quinn, dropped on Friday 25th October: His inspiration for the song comes from the character Harley Quinn in DC comic-book movie Suicide Squad, which was released in 2016. Denny explains, “At the time I wrote this song, I was watching Suicide Squad and I really liked Margot Robbie’s performance. I imagined her drinking gin and smoking in the club like the bad bitch she is and the lyrics just came to mind. The rest of the song just flowed out from there referencing Louis Vuitton, Lamborghini, Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat) and my favorite mustang Fox

Peter Sanford: “Never Walk In My Shoes,” A Snapshot Of A Creative Mind

Peter Sanford is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. After a glittering career as a session musician for many recording artists and companies, including the BBC, Peter now runs his own successful production company. Crippled in an accident in 2009 Peter suffered multiple fractures including both legs, both knees, lower back and nerve damage. Told he would never walk again Peter fights a daily battle to prove the specialists wrong. He continues to write and record very personal and uplifting music.

The CD “Beautiful Dream” released in January 2012 to huge critical and commercial acclaim was truly a triumph of success over adversity for Peter. Coming three years after an accident and with nearly four millions hits on YouTube, “Beautiful Dream” has proven to be an album that carries a message for the many people that love Peter and his music.

Peter Sanford is now set to release his new Ep, “Never Walk In My Shoes,” in February of this year. As usual all songs on the Ep are composed, performed and produced by Peter, while the vocals are handled by Emily.

From the beautifully orchestrated title track, to the pure adrenaline rush of the power ballad, “Words I Never Wrote,” Sanford shows us what pure pop music is capable of being. Each track has a full and multi-layered sound and never the stripped down basic garbage that has made mainstream pop music so unlistenable in the past several years.

This thing is loaded with great songs and the Ep is a snapshot of a creative mind percolating at full steam. “Always There,” “All That We Need” and “Gonna Be Fine,” play testimony to Sanford’s crystal clear and uplifting songwriting style, which could be described as mainstream pop with occasional nods to Americana and even R&B.

Emily’s unique voice, which has great depth, resonance and color, adds the final touch to Peter Sanford’s compositions. More often than not, it is her inner-soul that drives her voice to the place it will occupy in your heart, while listening to these songs. Sanford’s melodies and arrangements on this Ep set, captures all of that charm, power and magic. You will find the soothing vocals by Emily will move you, along with the lyrics and music.

After a hard day, or even a good day at work, there is a poignant beauty to all the recordings on “Never Walk In My Shoes,” that will uplift and satisfy your soul. What you’ll hear when you listen to this Ep is talent, talent and more talent. Emily’s voice is absolutely beautiful and Sanford’s arrangements are awesome.

I commend Peter Sanford for working on the music and plying his trade brilliantly, against all the odds and hardships, and urge him to keep it coming!
