“Ocean” – The New Video by Lara Lova

“Ocean” by Lara Lova, is an emotional inspiration, and a dedication to all living things.  It’s creamy and huge, coupling the beautiful character of her voice with a pulsating production of gentle euphoria. The explosion of the choruses hit like golden sparks showering from the sky – one of many well executed pay offs which prove that her ambitions are well warranted. Lara Lova greatest strength remains her wistful, wood-windy voice. It has natural charm and raw emotional relatability, which plays well against the electronic production and the track’s sheer desire to be a colossal hit. Music is a

Made of Stone – “Bitter Road” – a sophisticated, and delicately expanding soundscape

Made of Stone is Los Angeles based Ambient Rock Band formed in the summer of 2019. “This project will always be about the music and never about us,” says the band. We do however know that Made of Stone is comprised of Sophia Medina (Vocals), Chris Lewis (Bass), Alin Glogovicean (Guitar), Sammy Velick (Drums), Lucian Lee (Guitar, Synth), and that they lay down sophisticated, and delicately expanding soundscapes for the soul

The Goldilocks Enigma is made up of an experienced husband and wife singer/songwriting team whose first and foremost mission is to worship Jesus Christ, God, Elohim, El Shaddai, Jehovah Jirah in the midst of present day America. They claim to not seek fame or fortune, and are trying to steer clear of the vanity that can be found in music. “We hope our music will land in the ears of those that find themselves in a position to allow it to prick their heart and point them to Christ,” says the duo. The Goldilocks Enigma are currently working on the

Jim Wyly – “Wildman Of The Thicket” – both infectiously laid back, yet energetically ominous

After having spent 40 years honing his craft in the Austin are, born and bred Texas musician and singer, Jim Wyly has been labelled a “Texas Songwriter”, though his creative talents take him far outside that box. For years a member of several bands including Movin Target and The Lunar Rollers, Wyly has finally decided to take the solo route, at the tender age of seventy something. His first work – the album “The Artisan” – is already up on the shelves. On his latest voyage the tempered craftsman has filled his baggage with the soul, country, folk and rock

Dubgee – “Truth” is a prime example of how much of a dedicated artist he is

Doug Tree better known as Dubgee is a rapper, producer, beat maker, and label owner, from Vancouver, Canada. As an old school hip hop head, I’m so thankful that I stumbled on to his latest album “Truth”. Dubgee is a genuine artist and a true musician. Whether the media pays attention or not, at this point there are enough people who can hear the truth – we are witnessing one of the more versatile artists in the genre. Dubgee’s inner confessional memoir style is reminiscent of Eminem. A style that creates descriptively terrifying wordplay, but refrains in his subtle and

Juan Sánchez – “Rebirth” – everything is cohesive and emotionally riveting

Composer Juan Sánchez, started taking piano lessons at the conservatoire at only 14 years old. During the 80’s and 90’s he played keyboards with different bands, before going on to study music and technology in London. In 1999, he started to make instrumental ambient electronic music, and since then he has been creating music for multimedia and sound libraries for music producers. But Juan dreamed of becoming a professional pianist, all he lacked was the confidence to pursue his dream. However, soon he discovered artists such as Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi, as well as a handful of neo classical

Plastic Barricades -“Optimist” is all about seeing the way forward, through what may seem like a hopeless situation

Based between London and Paris, Plastic Barricades are Dan Kert on guitars and vocals and Paul Love on drums. They have released “Optimist”, the second single from the upcoming LP “Self-Theories”. “The song is accompanied by a truly DIY music video, featuring 8 houses, 8 cars, plenty of glassware, some benches and trees, a crowd of exactly 300 cast members and around 20 buckets of water,” explains the duo. And if you find that slightly out of the ordinary, wait until you see the video clip created by PB art-director Elina Pasok. “Australia is on fire, the Amazon is burning,

MotionPlus: “SoulSonicStimulation” True-Life Experiences In Music!

If you’re looking for a fresh and positive approach on hip hop, then look no further. Hailing from North Quincy, Illinois, WilliamMotionPlus’ Stern lists God, family, and music, as his personal interests. The man behind MotionPlus is a dedicated hip hop artist who has lived a tougher life than most; with the loss of his guardian at a young age, MotionPlus turned to music to release his feelings.

It has been said that music is the talent that God blessed him with. MotionPlus displays an honest approach on life and creates music that stays true to who he is. As a member of the well-known Scribbling Idiots crew, MotionPlus has made a name for himself in the Christian hip hop community. In the year 2013, it’s not easy to take a stand for yourself as a Christian; however, MotionPlus shows that he’s confident enough to show the world who he is and what he believes in.

SoulSonicStimulation is the breakout album by MotionPlus that was released in early April 2013. The 9-track album features songs that are truly personal and very honest. MotionPlus is not afraid to speak what’s on his mind. In “Hey Cold World,” he talks about the many negative aspects of life in today’s world and how he stands up to that negativity. “Realize” is an upbeat track that holds an undeniably catchy and immaculate flow. The poetic and metaphorical lyrics rapped by MotionPlus are the highlight of the song. A very personal song, “When I’m Gone,” vividly reflects on how MotionPlus views himself and his experiences in life.

After taking the time to truly listen to each and every track on the album, it is obvious that MotionPlus is not your average hip hop artist. The struggle that he has lived with, shines through on every song, and highlights his strength. It seems that this album would be extremely beneficial to any man or a woman who has also struggled with their own personal life. But even if you are a fortunate person who has not struggled and simply wants to take a listen to heartfelt hip hop, this album is right for you.

With honesty and integrity, SoulSonicStimulation expresses the life of MotionPlus beautifully and easily. Every beat on the album is executed wonderfully with many production elements that create the perfect atmosphere, including beautiful background vocals, catchy cool rhythms, and A-grade samples.

Sean Veligor “SV” who produced 7 out of the 9 tracks, and works under the umbrella of Jim’s Pool Room, has done a superb job here, filling in the blank spaces with everything from ethereal voices to full-on string arrangements, as can be experienced on “Bilderberg Orchestra feat. JustMe”.

Standouts tracks on this nine-track album are many. My favorite choices being: “Sol Seeker”, “Hey Cold World”, “Realize”, “When I’m Gone” and the before-mentioned “Bilderberg Orchestra feat. JustMe”.

Living life to the fullest is what MotionPlus wants you to do. MotionPlus is the hip hop artist to look out for in 2013. Grab this album, you won’t be disappointed!
