Moorhouse: “I Love You to the Moon and Back” ft. The Cellophane Heart – brings a new slant to the genre

Irish DJ and producer Moorhouse has dedicated the song, “I Love You to the Moon and Back”, to his daughter, Abbie. It speaks about their relationship and what the future holds. Canadian artist, The Cellophane Heart, provided the vocals for the track, and the song was produced in Moorhouse’s home studio in Waterford, Ireland. The track offers a lively, upbeat 90s dance pop sound mixed with current top 40 influences from Baz Luhrmann and N-Trance. This track means a lot. And there is a reason for that. Sure, it may be electronic dance music, but it’s…different. EDM music is becoming

The duo, Liquid Lunch has now played in excess of 200 Gigs, performing at more than 50 different venues and travelling in excess of 160,000kms across the state of South Australia. Through it all Eagle and Akers, now bring to

KonQuestNow: “NOP (No One’s Perfect)” ft. STP & J.Morgan – an assemblage of uncanny language

The preconceived notions of what a KonQuestNow (VerseBorn & Wreck The Rebel) track is going to be like are plentiful well before you even press play. This has been a boon to their career, in what has become a viral habit of either hating or loving something based almost solely on your own personal internet culture and what your daily feed prompts you to feel about a certain subject. The collective’s name has become synonymous with great lyrics, superb beats, and originality. On their latest track “NOP (No One’s Perfect)”,  produced by Wreck The Rebel, featuring  STP & J.Morgan,  KonQuestNow

It’s with his continued freedom and internal exploration that Enzo Sprigg returns with a new recording, while showing a mature growth from his earlier releases. Stori Brooks: “Parachutes” – a potential for greatness

Stori Brooks has been a lot of things in her career: producer, poet, conflicted rapper, scenic storyteller. While her versatility keeps her afloat, it’s tough to get a bead on exactly who Brooks is and what she stands for—is she the conscious backpacker or the straight-talking street girl? She embodies the urban alternative, and she’s working on an album, to be entitled, “EVERYTHING IS GR8”, that offers her full narrative. The first single, “Parachutes”, taken off the upcoming album offers insight into her essence, finding the rapper at her most reflective. Maybe she’s assessing her current status and how she

DJ Ramon: An Appealing Mix of House and EDM Tracks

Born in Macon, Georgia with hopes of returning to Atlanta someday, DJ Ramon aka 4Play is an authentic Southern boy with a mid-western attitude. Musically, he is still somewhat unknown worldwide; however, he has become rather well known in the areas in which he has lived as well as those where he has played gigs. One of which included opening for the hip-hop artist, The Game; he has also played with Kriss Styles and Swayze.

DJ Ramon who draws inspiration from Kaskade, hopes to create a well-known National presence, while traveling and doing what he loves best. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies as well as an Associate Degree in Social and Behavioral Science and plays over two hundred gigs a year.

DJ Ramon is your typical workhorse deejay, handling remixes, edits, sets and mashups. His DJ Ramon EDC Summer Dance Set 2013 is a solid mix. It manages to be diverse without being too eclectic, giving the listener an appealing mix of House and Progressive House tracks. His grooves are carefully picked, soulful and organic without giving you the same four to the floor beat on every song. The music arcs from atmospheric staging, to dramatic build so well and of course, delivers the massive drop, that by the time it comes, you are about ready to explode for it.

The production quality of DJ Ramon’s work is outstanding. Every song in his mixes has excellent fidelity and the bass is massive and clear. In fact his Back For You/I Cry (DJ Ramon Edit)is a perfect example of this. At full volume this track will rumble through your woofers like an M1 Abrams tank.

A key feature On Die Young Bronx (DJ Ramon Remix) is DJ Ramon’s use of atmospherics and textures to create a full and spacious mix. The use of saw, triangle and square synth patches, pads and minor keys builds tension, expresses emotion, and ultimately gives the remix a Dubstep sounding flavor.

DJ Ramon’s House Party Mix Vol 1 also has a variety of different beats. I am impressed with this music selection on here. If you are a fan of high quality Electro, House and Dance music in general, then DJ Ramon’s sets are for you. Don’t You Worry Child (DJ Ramon Edit) is another radio and dance friendly, virtual no-brainer hit!

DJ Ramon is truly gifted at putting a mix together. You could go to a club, play his mixes and the crowd would have no idea they weren’t listening to a live DJ because this sounds exactly like what a live DJ set would sound like. He is also amazing at creating music with intense beat-breaks. His skills as a deejay and entertainer are clearly maturing and he seems to be finding a direction in which to go.

It may still be some time before DJ Ramon is selling out stadiums and arenas, like Daft Punk has been doing for years, but if his current work and dedication is any hint of things to come; he is certainly heading in the right direction.
