Sober Season: “You Fool” will captivate legions of ardent followers

Sober Season was created in Barcelona, Spain by two childhood friends – José Valle and Max Mir. They jokingly started to play metal to create a project for their Spanish class, but after realizing metal wasn’t their genre, they kept creating songs until they found out folk-rock was more of their thing. While watching a Talent Show they met Olivia de Rezende and invited her to join the band, thus completing the Sober Season lineup – José Valle (Lead Singer, Lead Guitar, and composer), Max Mir (Drummer, pianist, and co-composer) and Olivia de Rezende (Backup Singer). Sober Season, who has

Though he had some help

KITARI: “The Scarecrow & the Manor” – authentic carefree, psychedelic sound!

Wolvo: “Nothin Right” ft. DAYVID – towards the pop realm of charting electronica

“Nothin Right” by Wolvo is a massive pop dance banger with singer DAYVID on vocals. The lyrics as well as the melodic voice have quite an eclectic effect against the backdrop of the growling synths. DAYVID sings like an instrument, and adds an extra dimension to the heavy percussion and exotic tinkling keys. There’s romance, evocativeness, space, and longing. You can hear it as DAYVID sings “Ain’t nothing right without you” in the chorus section. It’s the one line that’s clearly repeated in the song to create a hook-like attraction. Wolvo here, is stepping between the vastly popular tropical house

Chronicling the fiery end of a passionate relationship, ‘We Crash And Burn’ is a relatable, anthemic single that’s beautifully orchestrated with an array of tactful beats and synthesizers. The sonic landscape of Sismo’s debut

Blupa Music: “Repetition Of Life” & “Mama Earth (We Shall Meet Again)” provide more strength to the cause

He has just released two digital singles – “Repetition Of Life” and “Mama Earth (We Shall Meet Again)”, as well as a double-sided vinyl edition of the same tracks. It’s hard to believe music that sounds at times “so simple” can be so creative. This is music from the heart that will feel good in your soul. Blupa Music has been carving out his own singular niche since his nascent days. He struck creative gold from that point onward, veering from

Burnz: “Life” – a story of internal and external experiences

Burnz, an American hiphop artist from Charleston South Carolina, has dropped his autobiographical single, entitled “Life”. His insights and observations concerning himself, and subsequently his generation can be read from his lyrics sheet as pure prose. Even backed by a solid sonic collage, the signature combustion is still his own. This track jibes with a coast-to-coast aesthetic, as well as golden-era rap sound. Burnz laces this track with lessons learned and memories plucked from his entire life and he places the microscope close to his grind, sharing the harsh beauty and reality of it. Instead of shying away or avoiding certain

Free From Gravity: “Step Into The Sunlight” – an infusion of creativity and fresh air

Free From Gravity fill space with such perfection. It seems every beat, every syllable, and every phrase is calculated and prescribed just the right instrumentation and fill. Not every gap is filled with predictable guitar strums, hums, or piano doodling. If any instrument repeatedly fills space, it will nearly always take on a different sound every time. This band is an infusion of creativity and fresh air in what has become a stale, boring musical landscape. They arrived right on time all the way from Portsmouth, UK. Free From Gravity are needed in the world. They have chops. They have fun,

Woren Webbe Gets You Hooked In The Emotions Of His Songs

Woren Webbe, is an Indian singer-songwriter and melody maker. At the age of 11 Webbe joined an English music choir where he got a massive opportunity to work with Indian jazz music legends like Laura Santana and Babush Santa. He started working for theatre groups, doing jingles, advertising and music scoring. In 2004 he left the music because he was more interested and focused on his studies.

During 2006 Webbe got over his broken love life, after having been inspired to write sad heartbreaking music which reflected his own situation. This changed his attitude making him more devoted to his music. In 2008 he sent his music to one of the most popular DJ’s in India, “DJ KARMA”, who was the only person playing Hiphop and R&B music in India at the time.

Woren Webbe debuted in the Asian Underground scene for his own new debut album, totalling over 1200000 views on MySpace and gaining over 120,000 fans on Facebook. Webbe reached #1 all over Asia in 2009.

I was introduced to Woren Webbe when I heard the track “Down In Love” featuring Karma. The song got my attention but I needed to hear more tracks before I decided to believe in Webbe’s project. Once I heard “You’re So Beautiful” featuring Efinxace, I knew that I would believe in it.

From beginning to end, this is quality R&B; some upbeat, some soothing, some thoughtful, some nostalgic, but all worth listening to. In general, I find it difficult to find a male vocalist who delivers melodically; with lyrics you can understand, and play around people of all ages, sex and creed. Webbe’s lyrics, tempo, and sound is also relevant to many, varied emotions and moods.

Out of the new breed of R&B singers like Chris Brown, Bobby V and Neyo etc., Woren Webbe needn’t feel inferior, he may only be lacking their wondrous production teams, but if he continues his constant growth in maturity and in his music style, he will certainly be able to take the torch from these guys sooner or later.

Woren Webbe delivers on all counts and could easily become one of the top, lasting performers in the R&B genre. He’s a soulful crooner and he gets you hooked in the emotions of his songs, like on “What About Us” performed together with Efinxcase. The tears just may fall on this one as you feel the boy’s pain. The song takes it back to the origins of R&B lyrically, pain and heartbreak and most of all, relativity.

Woren Webbe’s voice smooths over every track he does, proving to past fans and newcomers alike that he is here to stay. Listen to “Dreams” and “Don’t Walk Away” where he infuses pop melodies with rich, soulful productions. His vocal range and timbre, creates both strong emotion and sentiment for his songs.

Like many of his contemporaries, Woren Webbe seems to possess some love and respect for old-school R&B, and it shows through his solid song-writing skills and his soulful, melodious vocals. This is certainly among the best indie R&B I’ve heard in a while. Webbe is the real deal. He mixes a bit of the 80’s and 90’s R&B and Soul, with today’s modern urban sound, and it comes out sounding great.

Woren Webbe is a significant artist who certainly has a passion for music and best of all, anybody can enjoy his songs, regardless of genre, because they are truly beautiful, and that’s what music is: an art form able to motivate and uplift, with the beauty of its melody and rhythm. Few do it better than Woren Webbe!
