The ability to market your music is an essential skill. Without properly promoting yourself or your music, no one would know you even make music. Independent artists have more opportunities than ever before to launch their own career without the backing of the major labels. Hiring a professional PR executive to handle your campaign is generally the best way to get great coverage. You might prefer the DIY approach

The Frost is a multi-genre group comprised of Leah Evans (Vocals) and Christian Gratz (Guitar, Piano). Located in Pennsylvania, their brand new single “Keep It Real” was released on December 7.  The duo emerge at a time when the ranks of sophisticated pop contenders seemed to have disappeared on a daily basis. Simultaneously chic and very creative, they thrive on the considerable charm of lead singer Evans, with her smooth chocolate voice, the instrumental talents of Gratz, as well as the pair’s impressive abilities as a songwriting unit. An absolute stand-out aspect of the new song is the way it’s

Forest Robots: “Timberline and Mountain Crest” – Inspired by natural landscapes

Let’s start of by saying that Fran Dominguez aka Forest Robots is a master at producing chilled out electronic music with heavy beats, and lots of orchestral instrumentation thrown in the mix. To call it electronic music almost seems unfair, as it implies this is music made by machines. Yes, I realize he is called Forest Robots, but this could not be further from the truth, as Dominguez’s music is pumping with life and human emotion. His latest album “Timberline and Mountain Crest” showcases 10 tracks of stunning depth, the kind of album you just throw the headphones on, turn

Edward St. Martin: “Lullaby” – blur the lines between savvy pop stylings and hard hitting kinetic soundscaping

Hailing from San Diego, Edward St. Martin has a background in film composition and classical music. His most recent single is “Lullaby”. Expectations met, superseded and immediately I hit replay. This track is going round again and I’m not the only one within ear shot of my stereo who is pleased about it. The easy laid back crossover Pop/EDM groove take is not unexpected, as I had already read that St. Martin was one for mellow tones combined with pop and soul vibes. But this track has another key element which makes a record of this nature standout. Intelligence. This

“Vibrations” – Peter Jam brings an intellect and respectability back to socially conscious music

Peter Jam (Jambazian) is a Lebanese-Armenian independent artist, global rights activist, singer, music composer, thinker, motivational speaker and inspirational world traveler for peace and justice, born in the midst of the Lebanese civil war in Beirut. His passion for music and art appeared during his teenage years, despite growing up in a modest family during difficult times, he studied and experienced a wide variety of music styles from Oriental Arabic to Armenian traditional, and pop to blues/rock and metal.

Influenced by all these music styles, and inspired by his experiences as a peace, environmental, human/civil and animal rights activist, which include the “Europe Peace Tour” (singing the peace song “If You Want” in more than 20 countries across Europe.

Peter Jam has moved beyond music and does speeches in places like UNESCO Palace in Beirut and UN complex (parliament) in Vienna. He speaks, reads and writes in 4 different languages, English, Armenian, Arabic and Turkish. Utilizing his cultural and musical backgrounds, he also writes music for films.

Peter actively supports and cooperates with several organizations around the world, from human rights including civil rights, women and children’s rights to animal rights and environmental activism. Peter got recognized by renowned Organizations and always looks forward to be the inspiring hand that is ready to clap, creating new bridges for a better present and future, upholding all the organizations and individuals that believe in the Power of Will to Change.

Peter Jam is an acquired taste. This music may not be for everyone; but it’s a great feeling grasping the intensity of the lyrics, the attitude, and the message that Peter sends to his listeners. His music will make you think; then make you think some more; and that’s never a bad thing. So get “Vibrations” and experience the magic for yourself.

The eleven tracks that make up the album cover a wide range of styles from rock to hard rock to grunge, punk and alternative, with a pinch of the singer-songwriter attitude thrown in for good measure.

Though precious and rough as an uncut diamond, the words are like burning coal, the music like rolling thunder and hits you like a skyrocket. It is as fascinating and as extremely powerful a symbol as that of the 60s counterculture. With its extraordinary surreal imagery and literary references, Peter Jam brings an intellect and respectability back to socially conscious music.

As mentioned before, “Vibrations” is raw, and lacks the formal perfection of the common radio ready music- but that doesn’t make it any the less impressive or significant. Whether or not one reads any actual deep-rooted meaning in these lyrics, the fact remains that these songs are absolutely essential, for popular music to acquire the much-needed respect that it has recently been denied.

Stacked between these two bookends, “Let’s Rock n’ Roll” and “If You Want” are gems like the haunting `I Have To Tell You’, `Cathrine’, and the absolutely superb `Back To You Again’.  Above all else, “Vibrations” creates the potential for rock to be difficult and challenging. Making it a defining album in modern Rock and Roll: it allows music to be complex and elaborate, but also angry, confident, unrefined and loud with a definite raw retro taste.

This album showcases the diversity of Peter Jam. If you have a good understanding of music, which is not only a matter of taste, but also something called quality, you must like this album.
