DEEPSYSTEM – “Anda Linda” – a zesty groove and a humid atmosphere!

DEEPSYSTEM, Europe’s underground ambassador of reggaeton and Latin trap — has remade the future of Spanish-language hip-hop in his image. If there is a revolution to be had in the new crossover market, this artist has done so by sticking to his guns, and mining reggaeton’s sonic riches for dancefloor gold. Rather than offer audiences lyrical signposts to what he’s thinking, DEEPSYSTEM makes you come to him, with a shared sense of explosive, downright sensual musicality and a hypnotically propulsive rhythm. Few others could do as much, in the European region. Furthermore, the man is consistent, putting out track after

Neave Zaria’s ‘Never The Same’ Is Evocative Of The Golden Era Of Jazz & Blues

Neave Zaria’s latest track ‘Never The Same’ is a soft yet impassioned exploration of our deepest infatuations and frustrations. The composition is steady but energetic, and the jazz spirit comes in hot from the get-go. Zaria’s voice bears a strong resemblance to that of the greatest blues singers of all time: Etta James and Aretha Franklin. The most modern comparisons would be to Adele and Norah Jones, but even then there’s a striking vulnerability in Zaria’s vocals that makes her stand apart. It helps that the English singer is just nineteen, but she demonstrates a superb ability at striking the

“Having grown up in a musical family with all those different genres it influenced the Singer-Songwriter I am today,” says Ajia, “I started becoming more and more involved in the live music scene through friends who are some of the most phenomenally talented musicians that currently perform in and around Nashville. All of a sudden, people started asking “Who’s the new girl with the old school sound?”

Ajia is busy writing and recording her highly anticipated album “Finally Ajia”, from which we heard three tracks, called “Ooo La La”, “What Am I To Do” and “Soul Train”. Somewhere between R&B, Soul and Jazz, Ajia Clark has a gorgeous voice with a clear pitch and resonance. It’s amazing when you listen to an artist that will make you believe in the power of music that will make you realize that there are still artists out there with vision and integrity. The music speaks for itself loud and clear.

The track “Ooo La La” alone, will woo you in the most incredible way. When Ajia sings, it is like she is telling a story through a gentle lullaby. Her voice has a luminosity to it that many other singers do not have. It has a strong, full-bodied sound and her style and method of singing is mature, while not forgetting both her uplifting strength as well as a vast range of emotional sensitivity. Including the sensuality she forges on “Ooo La La.”

The arrangements of Ajia’s songs are well done, providing variety as well as consistency to support and complement the fantastic dynamic range of her vocals. This is most evident on the jazzy spaciousness of “Soul Train” and the soulful rhythms of “What Am I To Do”. Her voice lifts you up, then lays you down and covers you in sweetness!

Ajia Clark takes you to that place where passion runs free and emotions are meant to unfurl and blossom. She is a warm hug on a cold lonely day…
