“A Heart To Save” – the new single by Friends at the Falls

Friends at the Falls has released their brand new single, entitled “A Heart To Save”. The single is a fantastic grower that reveals judicious sonic layering, a strong melody, an interesting and less typical beat, and overall ambitious song execution. Simultaneously haunting and jubilant the Friends at the Falls have hit this new release on the head. The lyrics carve into space and time as the listener is assailed with sound, drawn and dragged into the scene. The musicianship is crisp and without distraction, and there is nothing superfluous, nothing wanting. Many times songs seem to be either music looking

D.Pierre: “More” – taken as a whole, the song delivers an aesthetic unity

UK based D.Pierre is lyricist, songwriter, director and producer who has an extensive background in video production. He has put himself right on the come-up with his latest single release “More”. Equipped with his own production, the song puts forward a sound that is, by and large, a productive synthesis of EDM, Pop and forward-thinking electronic. This is a product that is thoroughly progressive, yet accessible. On “More”, we find D.Pierre at his best, and a microcosm of his expression. The vocals plead and boast, stand strong, but defenseless with heartbreak – all on top of the masterful production. If

AMERICAN MAFIA: “Rock N’ Roll Hit Machine” is as powerful, intense and phenomenal as anything put out in the 70s or 80s

Most old bands from the 80’s and beyond eventually end up missing the time in their lives when they were rock stars, so they get back into the studio and slop together some crappy tracks and capitalize on you buying it with the hopes that it would sound anything like the classic rock stuff did at the time…which it doesn’t. However, this is NOT one of those cases. AMERICAN MAFIA has come out with a stellar attempt to appeal to the current rock scene without sacrificing that signature 80’s style and sound. In fact, it sounds as though they listened

Sidecar: “Kelly” – Echoes of the past slip and slide through the verse and choruses!

“Kelly” is a very adventurous, stylistically diverse, late ’80s funk and early 2016 pop track. Well actually it’s a sum of something that sits between all those years. It has grooves that actually move and a lush instrumental that is impressive. Loaded with a nice beat and a great hook that goes something like “…Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, pick up the phone…”, this track is an excellent showcase of what Sidecar do so well. And that is, strong, punchy and superbly confident pop songs with conventional melodic structures which allow the masses to sing-along without embarrassment or hassle.
