Charles Luck: “Earthquakes” ft. Addie &Tino Red – You can’t help but feel zeal!

“Earthquakes”, in my opinion, marks yet transition from normal lyricist to thoroughbred songwriter for Charles Luck. After several diverse hip hop and pop flavored releases, he has just dropped this new and dynamic EDM single produced by Ian Hanks, featuring the sublime vocals of Addie and rapper-singer, Tino Red. Soon, Charles will no longer be the underground writer that only a few people know about and as such, his music keeps changing and adapting, crossing all boundaries to reach new listeners. Yet an interesting struggle arises as a result from this. How can you both, please your hardcore fans, market

Reverse Mechanic: “This Hole In My Throat” (ft. Michael Shynes) – a deep message

Minneapolis hip hop artist Reverse Mechanic released a stunning single in 2016, entitled “The Box”.  The track was a response to hatred, bigotry, and societal pressure, to not stand out or be different. “In the midst of so much racial, political, gender-based, and general social tension; it is important to celebrate our differences and remember that humanity cannot fit in a box,” said Reverse Mechanic. Now he kicks 2017 off with a brand new release entitled “This Hole In My Throat” (feat. Michael Shynes). I was almost scared to listen to the track, for fear of being disappointed. Just how

Slowfall: “Speak Up” echoes with a confident radio-ready croon!

Slowfall is a Rock/Pop Alternative project from Orange County’s Ryan Schicht who has been playing guitar, writing and recording songs since his teenage years. With influences like Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Train, and Third Eye Blind, the project provides an eclectic Rock/Pop Alternative twist with lyrics of love, loss and hope. Slowfall has just dropped the Lead-off single “Speak Up” from the upcoming “All These Seasons” album set to release soon. What quickly transpires from this track is that Ryan Schicht is one of the better song writers working today. If having a catchy, almost mainstream pop rock sound is how

America’s Got Talent Season 11 Star Sky Katz Teams Up with Heavy Metal Band ‘Unlocking the Truth’ For Intense New Single “Rockstar”

With Her Debut Album On the Way, The Young Rapper Has Joined Forces with Famed Brooklyn Teens Who Also Made Waves at an Early Age Performing Everywhere from Coachella to The Vans Warped Tour and Opening for the Likes of Guns N’ Roses and Motorhead New York, NY (January, 2017) — When it comes to crossing genre lines from hard rock and heavy metal to rap and hip-hop, plenty of bands have made successful crossover hits from Jay Z and Linkin Park to Public enemy and Anthrax. But in recent years as some of these iconic collaborations have fallen to

Natalie Jean: “Red Room Remix” – a dynamic EDM reworking!

Anybody who has heard Natalie Jean’s  album “Unafraid”, will remember the diversity of the tracks that frequented that release. They are all-intense, all fleshed-out arrangements, that problably represented Natalie’s best all-round collection of songs so far. From that album you would also remember the cutting edge, eletro-pop single “Red Room” . A track that never resolves into a shameless pumping session, but full of ideas dragged from deep emotional effect, with subtleties that crawl out slowly but steadily. The hidden lyrical cues to uncover its beauty are scattered from verse to chorus, making it a flavor that one keeps coming

Magazine Gap: “In Two Minds” – woos listeners with its sensitive musical combination

I can’t even quantify in enough words how much I love “In Two Minds” the latest video-single by British crossover band Magazine Gap. I call them crossover, because any one label, even a genre as wide as rock, is too small a box for them, even though they’re just three guys. These three, infuse their rock with strong flavors of soul and funk. This new ballad which about having ‘mixed feelings’ stirs up so many emotions with its soothing, but thought provoking lyrics and cruise control-like musicality. I usually keep any music by Magazine Gap within arm’s reach, and this

Charles Luck & Tino Red: “One Love” – modern-day urban troubadours

That Charles Luck & Tino Red already go together like time and the tide has become a known fact. On each subsequent recording these fellows sound they’ve just gotten to know each other a little better. Their latest collaborative project, the single “One Love” is a little different from a typical Charles Luck track. He’s always been a great lyricist with catchy music. But I feel like this track departs from his normal sound that somehow captures both a high energy mood with a laid back feel. The music here is a little mellower overall. But his lyrics seem to go to

Benny S Riding High With “Victim Of The Game”

British Born and raised in Barbados, Benny S has been writing and singing much of his life. All the songs on his album were lyrically written, vocally arranged and performed by Benny S. His hit song “Victim Of The Game” was #1 in the International Indie Charts and Pandora Radio was so impressed by his music that they gave him his own station which is one of the highest honors an unsigned artist could achieve. He has about 1,000,000 spins there amassing him 100s of 1000s of followers spanning all social media and counting. He currently dominates ReverbNation’s R&B charts

Spontaneous The Go Getta releases hustler’s anthem “Gotta Get It”

Spontaneous The Go Getta aka SPT recently brings in the New Year with a huge hustler’s anthem for the masses called “Gotta Get It”.  This is the ultimate turnup song of the year!  On “Gotta Get It”, SPT shows you the grind and determination to making something from nothing. His story is about flipping packs, getting money, and feeding his family.  SPT delivers 2 flawless verses over a high-energy Kid Flash beat.  On the chorus, that showcases SPT chanting, “I just gotta get it, I just gotta get it”, ties everything together very nicely, giving the listen something to sing-along
