AMARU – a singer-songwriter and a trained actor, originally from the Republic of Suriname residing in The Netherlands since 1991 – has found critical success with enough Pop, Rock, R&B and Electronic influenced songs that there’s plenty of demand for more, but there’s nothing like hearing the gloriously hard-nosed Dutch artist rap a beat to shreds. Kissy Sell Out

Kissy Sell Out

The Carrillo Music Label is actually the name that drew me to this set the most. I do appreciate Kissy Sell Out and all that he does, and seeing his name attached to the quality of the Carrillo Music roster, was just too much to pass up, especially with the set boasting 3 diverse remixes by Sonic Snares, Storm and FRNKROK.  “Give Me Your Hand” is definitely a dance stomper. It is a great electro composition that starts small, promises big, and delivers with gusto.

Elliot Chapman performs the vocals for this track, and if Kissy Sell Out and Carrillo Music play their cards right it could be a bona fide club hit. It is a truly spectacular piece of music, and I find myself tapping my foot, or walking to the beat, and thanks to the incessant vocal hook which repeats: “Give me your hand”, I’m thinking about it at some point throughout the day.

“Give Me Your Hand” by Kissy Sell Out, featuring remixes by Sonic Snares, Storm and FRNKROK would appeal to anyone who likes EDM, regardless of its subgenres, as it gives your heart an electric charge and your feet a reason to move.
