For Prymal, music is the very oxygen of life. It has remained a lifelong passion for him – a passion that only intensifies with each day. A true lover of the arts, he believes in the preservation of creativity and invites his listeners on a lyrical journey that travels profound depths and electrifying heights. Always staying faithful to his poetic roots, his debut album ranges from hard-hitting dancehall club pumpers to smooth reggae.
Born on the island of Jamaica, his unique life experiences have been a constant spring of inspiration in his musical career. He’s been developing his musical journey since his first performance at the age of fourteen.
Every aspect—from pen to paper to performing on stage—is memorable and deeply moving to him. Prymal believes in life – Loving every moment of life, embracing every circumstance no matter how painful, and using this love to transform the world into a better place.
He is a huge advocate for social justice and believes that if we can simply raise awareness—especially through art—then we can completely change the future. Prymal may be fresh on the music scene but he’s here to stay, bringing with him a much needed message of love and positivity in both his music and his presence.
Prymal was also the winner of the Akademia “April 2016 Best Reggae/Rock Song” Award for the track, “Heights”. The judges cited the following phrase on selecting his award-winning song: ‘Prymal has the knack of finessing a sing-song vocal elocution into hardened lyrical output – the essence of great reggae – and ‘Heights’ memorializes that talent forever.’
The album ‘It’s Prymal’ is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and CdBaby. Prymal is also on Jango radio!
