INF is a rising international rap artist who originally started from the United States, and now lives in Russia. Since the age of 9 years old, INF planned to be the most inspirational artist in history. And he says that nothing has changed since then. On the track, “I’m Chillin’”, INF showcases his ability to select luxurious, cinematic beats to rap over. In the 80s and early 90s Hip-hop music meant something, the rhymes, the beats, everything was fresh, new and original.
Hip-Hop these days is pretty much everybody rapping about the same things, beats aren’t as original and the meaning to it all has gone down to the tubes, real hip-hop heads can attest to this. Enter INF from Russia, this guy has it all, his originality, fresh beats, the content of his rhymes are sheer poetry, he actually has life to talk about, some things we can all relate to with his music.
INF has proven that he can provide the mainstream, easy-listening records and the more thought-provoking, layered tracks, with equal dexterity. He doesn’t feel the need to double down and commit to either end of the spectrum. And why should he? That’s the point of “I’m Chillin’”.
It’s also what puts INF in a ‘favorite rapper’ category nowadays. Backpackers, stoners, and the turnt crowd alike can find something to get out of INF’s music. Even though he is across the border, INF is carving out a new space for himself, ushering in a new life and creating music free of distraction.
INF never loses sight of himself. It’s what keeps his music so authentic. Throughout this project, INF proves himself an artist worthy of endless fascination; his deft ability to combine slick braggadocio, hospitable introspection, and simple humility into a single commanding force helps him stand out amidst an oversaturated hip-hop scene threatening to lose itself in the swirl of its own identity.
Little wonder that followers and bystanders alike will be swept away in the promise that “I’m Chillin” (prod. by DaBilberry Malahite) has to offer. What separates INF from most of his USA peers right now, is that he actually has a sense of what is valuable and crafts his releases to matter as a whole. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and that’s the invigorating type of resolve not been seen around these parts for a long time!
