Creamatic: “Ataraxia” unabashedly expresses his ideas and emotions

Born and raised in Houston Texas, Creamatic has been involved with music since elementary – from band, to choir and now writing rhymes. Since the drop of his EP “Ataraxia”, people have been slowly sitting up and taking notice of him. The 6-track recording was inspired from the past, depression, anger and striving for hope. The inspirations to Creamatic’s music potential are Kanye West, Nas, Jay Z, Scarface and Joey Bada$$.

Fiercely aware of his environment, Creamatic is preparing to go toe-to-toe with the greats, as he displays an inquiring mind across the release. Creamatic is a whiplash quick-minded rapper, occasionally so clever you’re doing double-takes to his quips.

At times he sounds bare and wounded and at others his loud and proud. So yes, he is conflicted, but that is what adds realness to his performances. His songs are realistic (telling a story) to me, compared to what other artists are rapping about. I feel like if you can relate to some of his stories in these songs or comprehend his lyrics, you’re not going thoroughly adore the EP.

Creamatic steps up and shows the world that you can rap about something of substance and not have to settle for mediocre wordplay. There is variety to each song, which is supported by his lyrics and the production, shared between 5 different producers.

The amazing thing is that the cohesiveness of the recording is completely maintained regardless of it having 6 songs produced by 5 different beat-makers. This is due to the fact that Creamatic’s persona and charisma substantially overrides the production to the extent of it being able to hold the Ep together as one compact entity.

Creamatic also sets a precedent for the sort of openness and honesty he brings to the Ep. This quality not only shines through his rhymes but also in his flow. Lyrically gifted, his themes are real, and he is transparent about himself right from the opening track “Only Way Out (Prod by Baker Yung)” and especially on “Vibe$ [Prod by KayLib]”.

Creamatic shines in that he unabashedly expresses his ideas and emotions with well-thought lyrics, metaphors, and rhymes. With some of his most introspective statements on “Another Day ll (Prod by AzBeats)”, I’ve found myself pondering similar musings.

Creamatic’s thought processes and perception of things are interesting, showing the mind of an observant and brilliant young artist. Truth can be told that “Ataraxia” is pure excellence. Nothing is lacking. Lyrics, beats, arrangement, mix….its 100% pure quality.

And the best thing is, going into the Ep, this result was totally unexpected. Listening to Creamatic’s bittersweet narratives about his life and surroundings, you will be inspired and driven to do everything that makes you happy in your life.
