I am a Singer/Songwriter born in Detroit, Michigan but grew up in Bay City, Michigan. I have been singing for a very long time, and my songwriting skills came along when I was in my twenties. I have had a lot of setbacks in life especially when Simon told me I was not good enough, on American Idol, and I had many rejections in life. I have always managed to get back on track and remind myself that ten days forward and one day backward still gets me to my goal.
I would love to prove Mr. Simon wrong, with my songwriting skill. What will make me stand out from the rest is I wrote good song which everyone can enjoy. I never was a rapper but I want to bring something different – jazz 1950/pop and rap together. I was inspired to write this song because of the virus last year and this year.
I was tired of being locked up in my room all alone living through my iPhone and missing the company of others. I just want to get back to my livelihood, maybe talk about a vacation or a field trip. Field trip was about the mask and virus, I just want to get out and have some fun. I guess you can say I am different because I put my heart and soul into this song and it is different.
