Ayesha Jackson is an indie singer/songwriter whose music includes contemporary Christian, Gospel. R&B, and Hip Hop sounds. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and raised in Arlington, VA. At the age of nine, she was diagnosed with a skin condition called “vitiligo” which impacted her self image. Luckily, this was also the age that she started to develop as a singer.
Music was a huge factor in coping with the emotions that accompanied her ever-changing skin. Music continues to be a source of comfort, as can be heard in the vulnerability of her lyrics. In 2019, Ayesha released her debut EP “From the Heart”, followed by her single “Closer” in 2020. Currently, she is proudly promoting her newest release, the EP “The Secret Place”.
