Rapper and educator Jahn Dough releases new project “The Garden Project” along with new visual “G Wagon” .The California born artist who lives in Dallas, TX, is heavily influenced by great musicians like Prince and Pharrell, which you can be heard throughout “The Garden Project.” Possessing a business degree from the University of North Texas, Jahn Dough has been in the education field for several years; however, he has been in tune with music since the age of 7, and creates songs with the intention of changing the narrative not only for black men, but also for creatives in general.
Jahn Dough’s music has always been a shining beacon of not only hope but resilience. On “The Garden Project” the only thing that’s changed is the intensity of the issues he’s discussing, matched only by the intensity of the love and skill he uses to unravel them.
Even when telling a story about himself or his own experiences, Jahn Dough is able to inject a worldly wisdom into his lyrics that holds plenty of universally applicable gems for anyone willing to take notice.
As much as Jahn Dough’s music can be a loving glance pointed towards a hopeful future, it can also be a firm fist pressing deep into issues that he believes deserve attention. The production on this album crackles with the warmth of smooth soulful and cinematic sounds laid down on vinyl.
