Three60 has been doing music since the early 2000’s with his tracks being released via iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and other similar sites. His upcoming mixtape ‘Untold Storyz” is an ABC (All Bout Cash) collaboration which includes the artists Stoley1st and Classic Genius. Out right now is the single entitled “Thug Waffle” taken from the aforementioned album. Three60 doesn’t fail to impress with his new release. He shows great charisma, content and mic presence, with a diverse production and just the right amount of interest to keep the track on repeat.
Overall the track has a dark, street anthem feel. Big drums, and lush keys accented by Three60’s gravelly voice adding punch and power. If you’re into good street-styled rap that stays true to the tradition of the genre without sounding dated then you can’t go wrong with “Thug Waffle”.
I’ve been listening to this track and Three60’s skill set is definitely above par. The voice, his countless flows and the ability he has to effortlessly apply them over any type of beat is his calling card.
Three60 brings his great technical rapping to his latest single, along with this strong wordplay. The track also manages to keep a polished, well-produced sound as well. It covers typical, storytelling and lyrical ground, but Three60’s braggadocio and flow are on point, as he takes an exciting instrumental to the next level.
Three60 seems so ridiculously comfortable out of his comfort zone, as he melodically spits his way from each verse into the sung chorus. What makes this track different than other Three60 releases comes down to how he works with the production. He doesn’t just compliment good production he capitalizes on it. Slowly unveiling the natural chemistry between his flow and the beat.
The track is just over 3 minutes long, but it’s enough for Three60 to transport the listener into his world. Here his flow completely shifts to a harder, more jagged and enunciated style, sticking large emphasis on the ends of verses. The track flies by all too fast and you can really lose yourself in the rhythm and flow of it all.
Three60 has the flow, the rapping skills, and the writing, however it’s his ability to keep it all interesting and engaging that propels this single to even greater heights in my mind. “Thug Waffle” is another high-quality release to add to Three60’s steadily growing discography.
