Ervin Mitchell drops the official music video for ‘Break The Internet’

Emerging rap star Ervin Mitchell reminds us to “count our blessings every day” in the official music video to ‘Break The Internet’. On the track, Ervin Mitchell proves that he is a master at his craft of writing. I also love his style when it comes to his vocal and rapping abilities. His sound is different, laidback, almost melancholic in a way. The track is a beautiful character study that will make you consider the importance of social media, the problem of money, and the meaning of life in general. In a world full of meaningless music, it’s always great

Warchief Rasco – “Good Ones Go To Soon” continues his atmospheric Hip-hop fusion sound!

“Good Ones Go To Soon” is an oath for the real ones I’ve lost in my life from either drugs, violence, or suicide to keep going hard and following the dream while spreading love all at the same time,” says Warchief Rasco. Rasco has a gift for writing concise, infectious earworms. When a track such as “Good Ones Go To Soon” arrives at its conclusion, it leaves a void in the listener that can only be filled by playing the track again and again. The cut has a quality backing instrumental, complete with a reverbed staccato guitar riff and a

Kota Wade Stands Out In Future Moons’ Debut Single ‘Entangled’

Future Moons’ debut single ‘Entangled’ is a gripping, affecting experience, straight away establishing the band as one of the more unique, riveting sounds in alternative rock. Their haunting, vocal-heavy arrangement invokes the dark, sullen stylings of artists like Billie Eilish yet at the same time, they double down on the emotional awareness, each word tinged with the weight of a thousand sentiments. The lyrics of the song detail a passionate connection with a loved one, and the physical expressions that accompany such a spirit. Lead singer Kota Wade’s voice shines through, as her refrain ‘close to you’ echoes between the

Introducing the brand new single: ‘Under Water’ by Max M

Max M is back on the scene with a sizzling hot new release: ‘Under Water’! If you are a fan of artists like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Halsey, and Sia, you’ll love the melodic and fun feel of this track! This song is a very catchy tune, with a very uplifting beat. In addition to that, one of the most distinctive features of the song is the beautiful layering of vocal parts. From the lead vocal to the harmonies, nothing is left to chance here and there is so much attention to detail, making the song even more special and catchy. This

Obsidian Tide – “Pillars of Creation” – Rich in fabulous melodies, shining with amazing solos and texturally aural soundscapes

When I heard the intricate themes and the heavy progressive direction on the album, “Pillars of Creation”, I was enthralled. Few bands are able to merge progressive metal and melody in a heavy fashion whilst maintaining an edgy, somewhat original vibe. Obsidian Tide have solved that puzzle for the most part. Their penchant for heavy, dark metal shines forth on this album, a conceptual piece filled with emotional peaks. Critics and consumers of epic rock and concept metal will be blown away by the originality of the music here. I think the Israeli band has crafted a compelling and incredible

M.C. ZackAttack: “Rap Or Die!” – on his daily grind!

Zachery Duncan, or rather M.C. ZackAttack , has been influenced by new age lyrical poets who speak their mind through music since 2010. Soon he’ll be releasing his newest mixtape “Mind Over Madness”. M.C. ZackAttack  has recently dropped his single, “Rap Or Die!” Let me start off by saying this track isn’t for everyone, you either love it or hate it, I would say it’s a hit and miss for certain people.  We all know that the quality of hip-hop has gone downhill, with a lot of artists either going for shock value with vulgar lyrics or relying heavily on glossy production rather than good lyrics. On “Rap Or Die!” M.C. ZackAttack  ignores both theories, basing his track on lyricism. Now, I know the type of reputation M.C. ZackAttack  may acquire in the industry, right off the cuff a lot of people will think he is ‘soft’. Well, who knows what that really means? I don’t really get the whole ‘soft’ concept. But it may have more than something to do with envy towards lyrical rappers.

Either way, “Rap Or Die!” has a great blend of what hip-hop should be. An awesome beat combined with good lyricism. M.C. ZackAttack tends to not be overly vulgar, which is positive for some who find it a little awkward blasting curse-word filled music in a family situation.

You’ll feel comfortable listening to this track as the Atlanta rapper tackles the theme of his daily grind and his passion for rap, which is at an all-time high here. In fact the song title spells it out plain and clear, as M.C. ZackAttack  only gives himself two options – “Rap Or Die!”

It’s nice to hear music that it’s not all about money and hoes, and more about a subject normal hardworking people can relate to. It’s uplifting and empowering to hear somebody emphasize their commitment to their craft without the usual empty-vessel boasting and cursing about how much better than everybody else they are.

“Rap Or Die!” is not perfect in every way, and it never professes to be, just as much as M.C. ZackAttack is still a young emcee on the up, in the process of sharpening the tools of his personal skillset. However looking across his 3 year catalog, it’s hard not to admit that he has been making strides in his forward momentum.

His biggest challenge now – in my modest opinion – if he wants to move to the next level, or gain mainstream success, is lifting the recording and production quality of his releases. The industry is currently obsessed with glossy diamond cut sonic aesthetics.

And no matter how creative musical pieces are, if the recordings are not cutting edge perfect, it will result as a hindrance in achieving mass exposure. However that’s not to say that M.C. ZackAttack is looking towards mass appeal, he may just want to stay in his lane.

So while the industry tries to find a sense of direction, M.C. ZackAttack is finding his, and manages to make a good track that hopefully not will be passed over by many fans that should drop their clichéd predispositions and give this music a shot!
