J Tizzle: “The Chill Zone Vol 3” – The taste is smooth and distinguishable!

As living things, we need a steady supply of certain ingredients to survive. In music, the formula is undeniably similar. A song requires both rhythm and pitch. For the musically hungrier amongst us, these ingredients are not enough. We need to add extras, such as mood, atmosphere, emotion and groove. Unfortunately, even with the proper ingredients and extras the results are not always as expected. Stagnancy spreads within the craftsman, as well as a lack of skill or emotion. Luckily one, by the name of J Tizzle (Jeffery Townsend Sr.), avoids these annoying traits. Within his songbook exists all of

Heavy AmericA: “Motor Honey (Peace)” – It’s rock. Pure and simple.

Martone: “Erogenous Zone” keeps the adrenaline and emotions flowing!

It was 5 years ago that pop superstar, Sam Smith, stepped up to the plate and showed the world that love songs don’t have to be heteronormative to be beloved. Smith came out publicly, stating that he wanted to be clear on what his album was about. “It’s about a guy and that’s what I wanted people to know.” He was also completely aware of how important his success is to the public narrative. Hearing your humanity represented and validated by pop culture is important, and many LGBT supporting musicians have since been stepping up to share their experiences. The

Dayna Patreace’s follow up single to her debut is part hip-hop swag, part R&B diva, and part pop queen.  “Experience” is a powerful display of her true vocal ability. Dayna thunders and slinks through the tune while switching gears between the various registers of her voice and demonstrating that she is anything but a one trick pony. Dayna stings with her emotional tones and addictive hooks.

The song is raw, arousing, well produced, beautiful, heartwarming, soulful, memorable, sensual, and all in all makes you wonder how much is coming from a past experience. It’s the kind of song that we all can attest to; especially women who finally decide to make a man all their own.

The sensuality in this song is indescribable; it conveys intensity in the lyrics and its intentions. No wonder it was chosen as her second single because this track alone could carry an album all the way to top of the emotional charts.

“Experience” is a groovy, tasteful, and seductive number exhuming pure passion. Borrowing from Soul and R&B rudiments from the past, Dayna soars with her range and captivates with her fire. The fervent number tells the story about how the she is ready to please her man’s fantasies in every way.

It’s more like a pleasing sexual confession; something you’ll want to listen to and enjoy to the fullest. The soulful ballad expresses the unquestionable natural talent of the artist. The track sounding more like a classic exemplifies timeless music, as the Canadian songstress stings the skin with her breathy and honey like tones; an imaginary steam will fill the air as you listen.

“Experience” redefines sensuality. Its voluptuousness is quite admirable; mixing R&B with hip-hop and ending up with a sound sweeter and smoother than strawberries and cream. The love and lust dedication signifies her unfailing affection for the man in her life. Just listen to the words, Dayna Patreace clarifies it all. What more does a man need?
