Still Hustie & WILDZ XL – “Vicious Circle of the Wildz” – another important message that the world needs to hear

Hip Hop is incredibly accessible.  If you have any performing, rhyming or poetic talent – you can tell your life story, through rapping, a beat and accessible means. This makes it globally significant – people can put their own spin on it, and express their individuality, or a collective message. Rappers, as poets, have always been a good reflection of the heart of a community. They take ideas out of the community and spread them to the rest of the world. Sometimes its stuff that’s positive, often times its stuff that’s negative. At best, it’s engaged in social, political and

Gual – “Get Down” – a retro-wave 80’s groove that is total wonderfulness!

By the age of 10, artist and producer Gual had picked up his first guitar. Two years later he was experimenting with music production, using a Korg Poly-800 synth, his guitar, and an old Panasonic dual cassette recorder. These days Gual is still channeling all of his energy and passion into his music with a nu-disco single entitled “Get Down”. This is an excellent electronic dance track album from Gual. Fat synths, smooth syrupy and soulful vocals, and thick funky basslines make this track a must have for anyone who appreciates any disco or dance music. The whole track has

Love Ghost Premieres their brand new video “Let It All Burn”

Message from lead singer/songwriter Finnegan Bell: “Let It All Burn” is how I see the world through my 18-year-old eyes. The hypocrisy and unwanted advice that weighed me down during senior year led to this song. My Dad being diagnosed with stage 3 cancer made me more determined- “fuck what they say, I make my own way”. The song was produced by Danny Saber (Rolling Stones, U2, Marilyn Manson, David Bowie). The music video was directed by Dean Karr. The promise of his early work led to Karr being asked to direct Marilyn Manson’s “Sweet Dreams.” The resulting piece drew

Denny Strickland sees Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn character as inspiration for new song

Denny Strickland’s new track, Harley Quinn, dropped on Friday 25th October: His inspiration for the song comes from the character Harley Quinn in DC comic-book movie Suicide Squad, which was released in 2016. Denny explains, “At the time I wrote this song, I was watching Suicide Squad and I really liked Margot Robbie’s performance. I imagined her drinking gin and smoking in the club like the bad bitch she is and the lyrics just came to mind. The rest of the song just flowed out from there referencing Louis Vuitton, Lamborghini, Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat) and my favorite mustang Fox

3Mind Blight – “1hell of a Night” – a magnificent piece of music

Hailing from Tulsa Oklahoma, 3Mind Blight began his musical crusade in the late 90’s. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native started out crafting his skillset with Boom Bap Rap and the Grunge Rock scene. After fronting several bands and production teams, what started as a hobby soon led to a full time music career in production, instrumentation, and artistry, blending rock, rap and instrumentals. Continuing to beat the odds, both in and outside the studio, 3Mind Blight’s “1hell of a Night” marks the artist’s latest single release.

Complete with a slow and dark, mellow groove and an easy guitar progression, it tells the story of right or wrong and how good can go bad, how everything can become one goddamn mess, and how it’s just the nature of the game when you experience “1hell of a Night”. For a fitting start, 3Mind Blight’s deep gravelly voice meshes perfectly, both pitch-perfect and on-point,

Everyone listening will feel like this song was written for them specifically, because the interesting thing is, notwithstanding 3Mind Blight’s own personal narrative, that you can fit these lyrics to almost any of your own, “1hell of a Night” experiences – be it with a woman, drugs or liquor.

Be sure to treat it right, or there will always be consequences: “Sleeping with a beauty waking up to a beast, with hatred in her eyes from the pain underneath.”  The track exudes a brilliant dream-like hypnotic vibe that worms its way inside your brain.

“1hell of a Night” is a magnificent piece of music, completed in just two minutes, illustrating the artist’s ability to bring about the feelings in us that he has in himself, within a blink of an eye. It is a diversity that really makes him special, among his contemporaries.

Truthfully, with each release, 3Mind Blight gets better and better. The flows are sharper, the beats are smoother, and the narratives are smarter. There is a respectful toughness, yet sensible vulnerability about 3Mind Blight and it shines through with “1hell of a Night”. And that is why fans of this style of alternative urban rap, will love him.

3Mind Blight’s artistic demeanor shouldn’t come as a surprise; the artist doesn’t strike me as someone who has time for the casual rubbish that his contemporaries deliver. Judging by his musical catalog, he’d rather go deep on his themes, whether it’s ripping into societal hypocrisy, or intimately exploring personal issues and anecdotes, like “1hell of a Night”.

There’s never anything gimmicky about 3Mind Blight’s music; he blends genres not to be cute but to serve the fistful of terrific songs he’s written up until now. Armed with an honest persona, creative song writing and an innate ability to capture ears and audiences, 3Mind Blight’s “1hell of a Night” will leave an ear-tingling impression and stamp on the indie music world. That is why we give it 5 out of 5 stars.
