(Las Vegas, Nevada) Loch Ness Records announces the release of MONSTER COCK MILLIONAIRES 3-song EP, Quarantine Dreams, on May 1, 2020. The date also marks the premiere of the first video and single, “I Like Girls”, streaming now.
Born in Las Vegas, MCM have spent the past year recording and honing their sound into a swampy, lovely mess of slide guitars and sultry vocals. This is rock music, but don’t expect auto-tuning and sampled drums. According to the band, “Nothing is fixed in our mixes. We get drunk and press record, and that’s the song. That’s real music.”
No strangers to the music scene, MCM are fronted by Del Cheetah of the sleaze-punk trio SEX SLAVES, who gained international notoriety from 10 years of nonstop touring and the breakout party anthem “Thank God For Jack Daniels”. Guitarist Elvis Lederer is a Las Vegas powerhouse, a regular on Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, and Fremont Street stages, and in smoky clubs all over town.
Quarantine Dreams is the first of four EP’s slated for release over the next 12 months. Foregoing the traditional album format in favor of more bite-sized chunks, this approach will allow MCM to stay engaged with fans and create quality videos for every release. “I’m already getting hate mail for the ‘I Like Girls’ video,” says Del, “so I guess we’re doing something right. If you can’t take a joke, tune out now.”
