“I hear so many stories that I sometimes forget my own.” In this chaotic world it is a common feeling, according to Igor Seemann, the singer and songwriter of West German Alternative Rock Band Excess Inside. “To capture this entire life into music and describe it with your own words is the biggest challenge and biggest pleasure at the same time.”
Igor is a full time paramedic and a thoroughbred musician and often writes about the feelings that he goes through every day. “Seeing other people’s struggles and hearing their stories brings you back to your own life and reminds you of what this world is really about. As a songwriter you have to get into many situations and consider different points of view. As a movie director or an author you have to combine the reality with the fiction to make your songs be interesting.”
Igor is a human who tries to live in here and now, trying to not complain about the past and worrying about the future. Embracing time as a musician and enjoying the process of learning and developing his self to become the best version of his own. His music can be found on all streaming services. Also recommend to check out his social media for more information and other projects.
