Kailyn Arrington is 28 years old and is a Cleveland, Ohio native. She is an inspirational speaker, life coach, author, filmmaker, director, model, rapper, and poet. Amongst all her passions, Kailyn is also a voice for trauma recovery for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24, who struggle with homelessness; depression; suicide and bipolar disorder. She is also a member of the Violence Prevention Sub-Committee downtown Cleveland, Ohio and the Suicide Prevention Collision.
Ms. Arrington is the owner and founder of EVC, established this organization as a physical expression of the passion in her heart to every day live a purposeful life. Helping others to reach their passion and desires has been a lifelong pursuit for Kailyn. A survivor of suicide and depression as well as a fighter against her own bipolar disorder diagnosis, she advocates for love, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of living a life much bigger than her own.
Every Voice Count Mission Statement: Our goal is to promote a healed and balanced life by decreasing the rate of suicide among youth between the ages of 18-24 starting in the Greater Cleveland area branching out into the world. “It’s not like a scar it can’t be visibly seen.”
Exclusive Interview with Kailyn Arrington:
What made you want to become a motivational speaker?
I wanted to become a motivational speaker because I asked my creator the living God what was my purpose and the response, I receive was to be a speaker. I was literally born to speak life over my life and other people life. That is why I have breath in my lungs and why I wake up every morning to live another day.
How would you ensure your speeches are captivating and informative?
By giving real life experience of how I’ve tackled all that life has thrown at me. Being resilient and relentless. Speaking from the heart giving coping skills for everyday living to reach the goal using your gifted talent to push further your purpose.
What would you say is the most difficult part of being a motivational speaker?
The most difficult part to me is giving them the truth in a way that it’s not giving to much of me. However, I’m just so passionate about helping people that sometimes I’ll go to the extra mile of myself to help save a life. Even at the disposal of me telling my deepest part of my testimony.
What would you do if you were assigned to work with a difficult client In Motivational Speaker?

What motivates you to do what you do?
My purpose motivates me knowing that there is no one else in the world that can help the people that are for me to help. That it can only get done only if I give my all to my purpose which is to help people that’s dealing with suicide, mental illness, bi polar disorder and homelessness. Helping people choice to live and live a healed and balance life. It is the air beneath my wings that keeps me flying and truly motivates me to sore life a eagle.
What one word best sums up you and your vision & why?
Resilient is the word that vest sum up me and my vision because through it all I’ve been and have to be resilient and want the same for others so they can live a lifestyle that is healthy. We have to master withstanding everything in life and keep going no matter what.
Where does your passion come from?
My passion come from me being in my mother womb and the living God loving me and creating me with the passion that was placed in me to bring into this world. The passion comes from being a survivor of suicidal thoughts and bipolar disorder. This passion comes from the depths of my soul to see another person win a battle I too fault and won at so many times.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
In 2018 when I asked my true creator what my purpose and I was heard spiritually to be a author. However, I’ve always loved written poetry, journaling, written raps, and letters. I fell in love with written since I was a kid. I love expressing myself through words on paper.
How long does it take you to write a book?
It took me 1 day to write my book however editing it adding to it and subtracting thing took a month. However, the whole journey of creating the book and getting the finish touches took time.
What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
I typically when I write get a boost of energy just to write and my schedule changes there is no set time. However normally mornings before work or night before bed are common.
What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
My quirk is that I typically always speak from a place of transparency.
What type of music do you like and why?
I like old school music R&B as well as upcoming artist because I feel their soul through the music and I’m a soulful person.
