Artem Cithara (producer, composer), Nicole Elizabeth (vocals) and Slick Sax (saxophone), make a dynamic team on their brand new single “Miracles”. At once haunting, retro and modern, you’ll fall in love with Nicole’s voice, Artem’s stunning chill but uplifting production, and of course Slick blowing his horn. This smooth and beautiful neo-jazz melody that blends Soul and R&B flavors, evokes thoughts of martini lounges and open mic poetry nights rolled into the same event. It’s perfect background music for any given elegant dinner party, travelling music for any road trip, relaxing music for lounging around your rooftop attic or unwinding after a long day… or grooving with the one you love.
Compared to the single “Sunshine”, this time around Artem has unwound the rigid electronic edge and given this new track a truly ‘loose’ and organic feel. “Miracles” is not only sultry and provocative, but surprisingly soulful and breezy.
Taking inspiration from an array of genre peers, Artem Cithara dips into the ever increasing overpopulated electronic music genre but successfully manages to restore all lost faith in crossover sounds. His sound varies from song to song and caters to a wide variety of distinguished palates. A few tracks are delicately laced with spiced-up electronics and a few drop in with a sophisticated and catchy organic air about them.
“Miracles”, which falls into the latter group, is my favorite Cithara release thus far, subtly leaks out of my speakers and into to my hips as I slowly sway side to side and sip on a dry gin martini. And I’m not alone. It’s hard to put your thumb on an creator like Artem Cithara . A little jazz, a little house, a little lounge, a little soul, a little R&B, a little daring…he does it all, and I think it’s downright groovy.
Artem features the extensive musicality of two respected musicians who exist in perfect harmony with his composition. The trio’s collaboration embraces everything from the untapped qualities of Nicole Elizabeth voice to Slick Sax’s love of any type of music as long as it something he will be proud of in the long term. In fact the man himself says: “Music is my passion, especially live instruments. It’s my heart and soul. It’s what I look forward to every single day. So, I set out to create music I could be proud of for many years to come.”
It’s this type of musical logic that propels Artem Cithara and his musical cohorts to extend their reach to the upper echelons of their genre. The thing you’ll like best about “Miracles” is its unobtrusiveness. Producer Cithara is the star here, while Nicole’s vocals and Slick’s sax support the track’s mood and tonality to perfection.
Our fearless trio has executed an impressive one-two-three combination that is certain to delight. These are all artists who excel at creating a world of sound that doesn’t belong to just one time period, artists whose music can come up on random at any time at any place and somehow feel like a perfect fit for the occasion. If you enjoy them you’ll certainly enjoy “Miracles” by ARTEM CITHARA (ft. Nicole Elizabeth & Slick Sax).
