Composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer. Christopher Rapkin is many things, including founding member of Digital Composers Guild, and a music industry consultant. During September Rapkin released his 10 track heavy guitar album, entitled “Focus In”. Listening to Rapkin on this album it also becomes clear that he could be known as a great guitar virtuoso and a perfectionist. Christopher is the guitarist who sings and he does it quite well, in my opinion even better than Steve Vai. Also he is a good composer, all of his albums are full of songs of different styles. So he’s the man

Russell Esby is a 17 year old multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, from the European island of Malta. Russell says that writing songs and playing music is his escape from everyday life’s complexities. “Post-Sentiments” is Russell’s 6 track EP: exquisitely meandering sonics that author tranquil moods presented alongside insightful lyrical content. With a clear love of personal storytelling, and a keen eye for the problems present throughout relationships, and yet with no desire to feverishly impose his knowledge, Russell weaves a gentle spell that pushes listeners toward awareness at their own pace. If you can embrace the gentlest subplot inside yourself –

“My Way”: Juvahn Victoria resembles the kind of upcoming artist we need more of!

Juvahn Victoria is a singer/songwriter from Sydney, Australia. Her style is anchored in Alternative R&B and Soul. You can always tell when an artist throws out a record just to say they have arrived and have something new out…“My Way” by Juvahn Victoria is definitely not that type of single. She has a world of singing talent and breathes feeling and life into this song.

Juvahn Victoria

Juvahn Victoria

“My Way” is a sweetly endearing ballad that glides along a lush, melodic urban beat, and Juvahn finds the emotion and serenity from note to note to make you feel the ease of the song flowing in your mind and through your heart. While Juvahn’s rise to the top may be just starting out, it is refreshing to hear a vocalist who exudes such honesty, sex appeal, attitude, and soul all while churning out great music.

Juvahn Victoria’s voice has an inflection that will identify with the everyday person that may be in love or may be recovering from a broken relationship. That is what makes her different from many other Soul, Pop or R&B female singers today. Oftentimes it is not just the power of the voice, but the nuances and inflections the singer is able to express, which captures the ear of the listener – something which Juvahn excels in. I would imagine that she has perfected her vocal craft since performing at Jazz and Speakeasy clubs around Australia.

Juvahn, who is currently working on her EP – to be entitled “Bullet”, with Producer Divy Pota – resembles the kind of upcoming artist we need more of. Although slickly produced and well-written, the single is first and foremost about the quality of Juvahn’s voice and performance. This songstress has a silky set of pipes on her, which she uses to amazing effect on “My Way”.

Juvahn Victoria’s rendition of this power ballad is like a gentle blow to the solar plexus, just hard enough to grab your attention and delicate enough to make you feel the unbridled joy of love, and the devastating effects of its possible betrayal in the same breath. Merely hearing the first minute of this song was enough to convince to me that the combination of Juvahn’s voice, the songwriting, and the superb production shows that soon she is going to have to be taken seriously within the industry and by music fans alike. Juvahn Victoria is beautiful, she is real, and every lyric she sings is with such depth you will feel every emotion!
