Piper Madison is a 14 year old multi-instrumentalist (guitar, banjo, piano and ukulele) as well as singer. She was born in Louisville, KY where she lived with her family until they made the move to Southern California to pursue her career in music and acting.
Piper is known for her role as Zelphaba on Nickelodeon’s 100 Things To Do Before High School for which she was awarded “Best Performance in a TV Series” at the 2016 Young Artist Awards. She has booked numerous national commercials, print ads, short films and also plays Treva in the award-winning web series, Harvard Court.
Piper Madison just recently, released her single and supporting video for the song “Those Girls”. While other pop stars more or less her age (who shall not be named) are out twerking, and selling sex, and messages about being as skanky and irresponsible as possible, Piper is singing about being ‘those girls’. She does this all with sweetly powerful and natural, vocals.
There is no filter, no autotune, just a guitar riff, a bouncy bass-driven beat and her booming, vocals. On other tracks, she has that classic, clean-cut 90’s type sound that brings you back to the days when music was still quality!
This girl is the real deal. If you are on the fence about her, seriously, pull the trigger. You will be glad you did. This girl deserves your support. One day she is going to be a top selling pop star, and you need to be onboard now. She is a talent we will talking about for years to come.
In addition to acting, Piper plays several instruments, including guitar, piano, ukulele and banjo. She has been singing and writing songs since her parents gave her a guitar for her eighth birthday. She’s currently working on a full-length album based on songs she’s written. The album is expected to be released in 2017.
There are some voices that just grab hold of you the moment you first hear them and that happens with Piper. Her vocals float over the addictive melody, elevating this up-tempo pop confection and the hook is strong too. When you want playful teen pop music to cheer you up it’s hard to beat this. Piper Madison has a great voice and the production values are top notch on “Those Girls”.
