“With their album “Projections“, Litost demonstrate all their ability to manipulate sound with their bare hands, shape it in their image, and shoot it straight to our chest. To make us vibrate, blow after blow. To excite us, song after song.” – Nova Music Blog
“With a sound highly reminiscent of Alice in Chains, a great deal of torment flows through these hard-edged pieces. Deserving to be absolutely blasted they serve as sheer forces of nature. Every piece plays off the last and they come together into a coherent satisfying whole.” – Entropy Magazine
“Projections” holds nothing back, proving Litost to be true masters of their craft, sculpting a sound that feels uniquely their own.
ABOUT: Founded by John Rackowski, who later partnered up with vocalist Matt Smith through the luck of an answered Craigslist ad – and separated by 1700 miles between them – the Litost project had its initial beginnings in 2003, via instrumental recordings, which translated to an official EP release ten years later. John & Matt now write, record and produce every aspect of their music from each of their home studios in Wisconsin.
